My project is on symbols of femininity. I tried to incorporate as many universal symbols of femininity as possible like the planet venus, the color pink, and cats. I also included on the cover a collage of women's hair types and the different body types to symbolize that all women are beautiful. While making this, I got better at using photoshop and I think a got a little better at adobe illustrator. Photoshop was easier and I didn't like the parts that I did in illustrator because it looks messy, I don't think I'm very good at tracing on a computer. My original plan was going to be just flowers but that kind of limited my color pallet and it would be kind of boring compared to just a bunch of different elements. I think I successfully communicated girly like things by using lighter colors and putting women on the front and back. One of the things that I like about my project is the way I stapled it so people couldn't tell that the pages weren't cut perfectly. I think it's a funny representation that women have to act perfect and always cover up their mistakes.
