Hi! I'm a freshman at CU Boulder studying integrative physiology. My family has moved around a bit before we finally settled in Kansas, but I moved to Colorado for college. I would not call myself an artist, I can't draw and I've never created anything special. I do LOVE colors. Specifically pastel colors. Since I was young, I've always loved lighter fun colors like pastel pink and purple. As I've grown up, I've been able to decorate my room the way I want and I've been able to dress how I want. With this freedom to present myself and decorate my surroundings how I like them, I developed my creativity and style.

Some other things that I like besides pretty colors include: swimming, reading, writing, decorating, and napping. I've been swimming since I was in kindergarten and now I teach swim lessons of my job and I absolutely love it. I actually couldn't read until like 4th grade but once I figured it out I loved it. With my new ability to read I also started to love writing my own stories. Before I moved to college, my dad didn't really let me express myself how I wanted to, I also wasn't aloud to hang stuff on the walls. Now in college though, I can wear as much pink and purple as I like, I can wear dresses and heels without any limitations. I am able to hang up posters and flags and lights on my walls and ceiling to create an environment that represents me. I think I am best represented by pastel colors.
